For obvious reasons, the affluent market is quite popular, but this group is also quite difficult to sell to. That's why we avoid selling. This market prefers to discover. They're not simply making purchases, but rather investing in experiences. They want authenticity. They want substance. We deliver this through the stories we tell. Our stories inspire, excite, create nostalgia, spawn discovery and ultimately desire. Through words and images we lead them inside your brand and leave them wanting more.
Wes and Chris Spiker started Spiker Communications in 1983. Our roster of clients has grown considerably ever since. Through compelling stories in our creative communications and cohesive public relations campaigns we have done quite well by creating visibility for clients throughout the Western Hemisphere. But we haven't gotten so big that we've forgotten our roots. In fact, we still work with two of our original three clients.
Our approach of placing substance over style communicates a real confidence that resonates with the upscale market. We are successful with high-end brands because we are able to capture their stories. We seek out the connection points, the flashes of emotion, the unexpected characteristics that allow our audience to feel as if they were actually the first to make the discovery.
